The Astra 2D Beam

BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 are mainly broadcast from the ASTRA 2D beam. This is a strongly focused beam over the United Kingdom. The signal quickly gets weaker away from the centre of the beam.

It has been claimed that the Astra 2D beam has been received as far afield as Jordan using a massive 7m dish.
